Home2 Suites by Hilton today celebrated the topping out of the brand’s first hotel in Nashville, Tenn. Owner and developer North Point Hospitality Group broke ground on the property in Spring 2011 and has now officially laid the final beam to complete the outside structure.

Engineer was Chosen from Nearly 50,000 Team Members Worldwide as "Spirit of CARE" award winner Hilton Worldwide has honored David Laufman, Engineer, of the DoubleTree by Hilton Historic Savannah with the company's Spirit of CARE Award. This award designates Laufman as a top performer within DoubleTree by Hilton Hotels. Today, at 2:30pm Hilton Worldwide will celebrate David Laufman's award at the DoubleTree on Bay Street.

North Point Hospitality Group, Inc. today announced the ground breaking of its newest hotel project, a dual branded Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton Hotel. The official ceremony will take place on Thursday, August 18 at 2pm with elected officials, local dignitaries and Senior Executives from Hilton Hotels Corporation and North Point Hospitality Group in attendance.

The 66,000-square-foot Home2 Suites will include 119 rooms over seven stories, according to Lizabeth Theiss, director of business development with J.E. Crain & Son, which will break ground on the project next month. Currently, 20 Home2 Suites are under construction or breaking ground across the United States. Only two are currently open.

The newest star on Music Row, the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville/Vanderbilt officially opened its doors on Thursday, August 27, 2009 with a reception for more than 300 special guests in the Benedetto Grand Ballroom located on the 9th floor of the hotel. Nashville Mayor Karl Dean joined North Point Hospitality Group President & CEO, S. Jay Patel, along with Hilton’s Senior Corporate executives as they officially cut the ribbon to signify the newest addition to the Vanderbilt/West End market.

An Alpharetta developer plans to build a rare dual-branded hotel on a site at 10th and Williams streets in Midtown Atlanta. The 11-story structure will fly two Hilton flags â€" Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites By Hilton â€" and be the first hotel in Atlanta built for the purpose of having two brands for two distinct customers under one roof, said S. Jay Patel, the president of North Point Hospitality Group Inc.

Midtown may be getting yet another hotel, this one across the Downtown Connector from Georgia Tech. North Point Hospitality Group, Inc. of Alpharetta purchased 0.69 of an acre at the corner of 10th and Williams streets to build a Hilton Garden Inn or a Hilton Homewood Suites, according to Databank. The site is now a parking lot behind H.M. Patterson & Son Funeral Directors where the homeless frequently sleep.
Nashville's Prime Midtown Property getting hotel

A prime piece of Midtown real estate is getting a Hilton Garden Inn, and maybe more. Alpharetta, Ga.-based North Point Hospitality Group has started tearing down the Roesch-Patton Funeral Home at 1713 Broadway to make way for the nine-story, 192-room hotel. J.E. Crain & Son, which recently built the Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown, will construct the Hilton Garden Inn.
North Point is believed to have plans for a second hotel on the 1.67-acre site. Attempts to reach a company official for comment weren't immediately successful.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. for the launch of midtown’s newest addition, the Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Midtown. Speakers included Edna Jackson, Mayor Pro Tem and Pete Liakakis, Chatham County chairman. The ground breaking ceremony was followed by a catered lunch on the site of the future 133 room hotel.
