Dual Branded Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites By Hilton Celebrates Topping Out

North Point Hospitality Group, based in Atlanta, GA, recently celebrated the topping out of the dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown. It is the first dual-branded hotel to be developed in Atlanta.

Construction began on the property in August 2011 and North Point has now officially laid the final beam to complete the highest exterior structure, with a scheduled opening in the 1st Quarter of 2013.

Both hotels are housed within a 12-story tower, under one roof. The hotels are located at the northeast corner of 10th Street and Williams Street, and will enjoy tremendous visibility and easy access to and from the Downtown Connecter. Combined, the two hotels will have 228 units and will include meeting and conference facilities accommodating up to 200 persons. Amenities include a 110-seat full service restaurant and lounge accessible from both hotels, an outdoor elevated pool and jacuzzi as well as an expanded fitness center and valet parking.

“The Yates Construction team has done an outstanding job of going vertical and topping out the building in a very timely manner,” said S. Jay Patel, President and Chief Executive Officer of North Point Hospitality Group. “We look forward to delivering the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton to the dynamic Midtown area of Atlanta at the beginning of 2013.”

The hotels’ location is key. It is just minutes from Georgia Tech, Turner Broadcasting, Coca Cola, the Woodruff Arts Center and over 20 million square feet of office space. By placing two leading brands under one roof, it enables the hotel to better serve a wider range of guests, both the business and leisure traveler alike, as well as extended stay customers.
