North Point Hospitality is committed to excellence in everything we do, and that goes beyond our hotel experience and into the community. Giving back to others, it’s what we do. Our commitment to excellence in our hotels and to our customers reaches out to our communities, too. Thanks to our valued customer support and the generosity of our employees, we are better able to help those in need. If we all do our part, we can make a difference.
Habitat for Humanity
Alongside area business leaders, Executive Vice President Whip Triplett participated in a CEO Build through the Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity. This national program allows top executives to come together and help transform their communities by working alongside local, hardworking families to build a safe, decent and affordable place to call home. This house just happens to belong to a member of the local hospitality industry.
Mr. Triplett is on the ladder in the center of the photograph. North Point Hospitality is committed to working in the communities in which they call home. Team members at all levels of the company are encouraged to volunteer in an area of interest.
America’s Second Harvest Food Bank
Representatives from North Point Hospitality help stock the shelves at America’s Second Harvest Food Bank. Each day the food bank receives truck loads of donated goods that need to be unpackaged, organized and then placed on the shelves of their 30,000 square foot warehouse. With a very limited staff, the organization relies heavily on volunteers in the community to assist in this process.
Children Across Borders
North Point Hospitality is proud to support Children Across Borders with a $20,000 donation to help fund their mission. Children Across Borders is a charitable organization that provides financial and non-financial support to children-focused, non-profit, grass roots organizations primarily in the areas of education, health, housing and wellness across the United States and India today, and the world tomorrow.
Clean The World
North Point Hospitality proudly supports Clean the World, an organization that gives discarded bars of soap and plastic shampoo/conditioner bottles a second life. Clean the World sterilizes, re-manufactures, and distributes hygiene products to those that need it – aiming to prevent both waste and hygiene-related illnesses. The bars of soaps are distributed to third world countries while the plastic bottles are distributed domestically to various shelters. In a calendar year, North Point Hospitality averages over 2,000 lbs of soap and 321 lbs of plastic bottles.
Georgia State University Hospitality Scholarship Fund
As part of the groundbreaking celebration for the Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Midtown in March 2018, North Point Hospitality extended its commitment to Georgia State University’s Hospitality Scholarship Fund with an additional $25,000 donation. This increases the total donated to the Scholarship Fund to $50,000, reinforcing North Point Hospitality’s commitment to hospitality education in the region.

Savannah Development and Renewal Authority Clean Up Savannah

Susan G. Komen of Coastal Georgia
Susan G. Komen of Coastal Georgia launched the inaugural “Big Wig Campaign” September 15, 2014. Gina Peper, the VP of Sales & Marketing for North Point Hospitality, was one of 10 community leaders (Bigwigs, if you will) to lead the campaign. To assist in raising funds for the campaign, Gina implemented “Jeans Friday” for the month of October where employees could make a donation to the campaign and wear jeans on a Friday in October. The campaign’s main goal was to help under-insured women in the Coastal Georgia region receive access to breast health care. The team began with a team goal of $10,000 and met that within the first week. In the end, the campaign raised over $30,000 for early detection of breast cancer.
