North Point Hospitality, an award-winning Atlanta-based hotel development and management company, is pleased to announce Christy Shapard as their 2023 Executive of the Year. Christy joined North Point Hospitality in March 2018 and is the Vice President of Human Resources. Before joining North Point Hospitality, Christy translated the HR function in banking, healthcare, higher education, and telecommunications for over 15 years.

“As the landscape in human resources continues to evolve,” says Whip M. Triplett, Chief Operating Officer of North Point Hospitality. “Christy has been instrumental in ensuring North Point Hospitality is at the forefront of the changing times related to benefits, talent, and culture.”

Christy was presented this award by S. Jay Patel, President & CEO, alongside Whip Triplett, Chief Operating Officer, at the year-end strategic meeting for North Point Hospitality in Cancun, Mexico.
