DUAL-BRANDED HILTON GARDEN INN/ HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON
The first dual-branded Hilton hotel in Georgia and only the 14th worldwide, the Hilton Garden Inn / Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown officially opened its doors on Thursday, January 17, 2013. The opening was marked with a reception for more than 200 special guests in the Piedmont Park Ballroom, located on the 12th floor of the hotel overlooking downtown Atlanta.

City Councilman Lamar Willis joined North Point Hospitality Group President & CEO S. Jay Patel, along with Hilton Corporate Senior executives, to officially cut the ribbon and signify the newest addition to the Atlanta Midtown market.

Located at 97 10th Street, the 12 story hotel boasts 136 Hilton Garden Inn rooms and suites, 92 Homewood studio and one bedroom suites and nearly 4000 square feet of flexible meeting space overlooking downtown Atlanta. The hotel is poised to offer new, fresh meeting and lodging options for guests choosing to stay in the Atlanta Midtown area. Centrally located within a two-mile radius of a number of multi-national businesses, such as Coca-Cola and Turner Broadcasting, the dual branded hotel will provide the amenities necessary to ensure that guests have everything they need, whether traveling for business or pleasure.

“The response from our guests to the dual-branded concept has been extremely positive,” said Whip M. Triplett, Executive Vice-President of North Point Hospitality Group. “Having both hotels under one roof gives our operations team the ability to better serve our guest’s needs. For us, that is our number one priority.” The hotel splits its lobby between the two brands, offering two separate check-in desks and lodging/dining areas – each catering to the needs of their respective customers. Communal areas include meeting rooms, valet parking, business center, pool, and fitness center.

The Hilton Garden Inn/Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown is the newest addition to the North Point Hospitality Group family of hotels. This award winning hotel development and operations company currently oversees ten brand-defining Marriott and Hilton hotels in Savannah and the Atlanta area.
