Diego has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He started as a Part-time Breakfast Attendant at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Alpharetta Ga. Diego has navigated through different departments in the Hotel world like Engineering, Front desk and finally Housekeeping where he found his niche, and mastered his skills and it is in this department where he has excelled and made his biggest contribution. . He also had the opportunity to participate in the opening of different Hilton and Marriott hotels in cities such as Atlanta, Savannah, and Nashville. He is an avid traveler and loves seeing the world in his free time while enjoying conversations with new friends.
Diego accepted the 2017 Service Leader Award from the Tourism Leadership Council in Savannah Ga. He is disciplined and extremely organized, he holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of C.T.B in Bogota from his native Colombia. One of his favorite things to do is to celebrate and interact with his team on a daily basis. He is truly passionate about decoration and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
