North Point Hospitality Group, Inc., an Atlanta based hotel development and operations company, announced the sale of its 160-unit SpringHill Suites by Marriott Savannah Historic District on Thursday, December 5, 2013. The property was purchased by a Florida based real estate investment trust at a purchase price of $250,000 per unit.
In celebration of the Hilton Worldwide Global Week of Service (October 6-12, 2013), North Point Hospitality Hotels in Atlanta and Savannah participated in a variety of community projects including, hosting a brunch for families at The Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA and stocking shelves at America’s Second Harvest Food Bank in Savannah, GA.
A visitor arriving at the Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood Suites Midtown Atlanta might be forgiven for doing a double take about the destination. The brands share the same building in what is known in the industry as a dual-branded hotel.
SpringHill Suites Savannah Downtown/Historic District hosted its first ArtNight featuring works of art by the Kindergarten – Eighth-grade students at the Esther F. Garrison School of Visual and Performing Art. More than 400 people were in attendance to view the artwork.

The first dual-branded Hilton hotel in Georgia and only the 14th worldwide, the Hilton Garden Inn / Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown officially opened its doors on Thursday, January 17, 2013. The opening was marked with a reception for more than 200 special guests in the Piedmont Park Ballroom, located on the 12th floor of the hotel overlooking downtown Atlanta.
