By July 27, 2018News

NASHVILLE, TN July 26, 2018 —North Point Hospitality recently closed on a two parcel site totalling .98 acres with plans to develop two hotels and a structured parking deck.  The Phase 1 development will consist of a 200-key full-service hotel located at the intersection of Church Street and 19th Avenue, with a future Phase 2 development planned to include a second hotel with 150-keys fronting on Hayes Street and 19th Avenue.

“We see this area as an emerging corridor for future development. This location has excellent access to key demand generators including Saint Thomas Hospital, Vanderbilt University and Music Row; as well as direct access via Church Street to the new Nashville Yards Development (the $1.2 billion mixed-use entertainment district) with unobstructed views to downtown Nashville,” said S. Jay Patel, President and CEO of Atlanta-based North Point Hospitality.

This will be North Point Hospitality’s sixth and seventh hotels developed from ground up in the Downtown / West End Nashville market with the $140 million, 470-key Marriott tri-brand hotel in downtown Nashville set to open by the end of 2018. The tri-brand property includes a 209-key AC Hotel, a Marriott lifestyle-inspired brand from Europe now in 42 U.S. cities; a 136-key Residence Inn by Marriott; and a 125-key SpringHill Suites by Marriott. Previously, North Point Hospitality developed the 194-key Hilton Garden Inn and adjacent 119-key Home2 Suites located in the West End / Vanderbilt sub market.
