AC Hotel Savannah Historic District Receives Marriott’s “Best Opening” Award
North Point Hospitality Property Recognized for Outstanding Opening Performance at Marriott’s Connect Conference
SAVANNAH, Ga. (June 25, 2026) — North Point Hospitality is proud to announce that the AC Hotel Savannah Historic District has been recognized with Marriott International’s Best Opening Award, presented on May 28, 2026, during Marriott’s Connect Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Best Opening Award recognizes hotel teams that successfully open a property with minimal punch work while exceeding key performance benchmarks, including RevPAR Index, Guest Satisfaction, Occupancy, and RevPAR goals. The award highlights excellence in hotel opening execution, operational performance, and guest experience.
The award was accepted on behalf of North Point Hospitality by Whip Triplett, Chief Operating Officer, and Gina Peper, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Operations.
