ATLANTA, GA — March 21, 2018 — North Point Hospitality, an award-winning Atlanta based hotel
development and operations company, celebrated the groundbreaking of its Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown yesterday with a private ceremony. Senior executives from Hilton Worldwide, Fifth Third Bank, First Tennessee Bank, and North Point Hospitality were in attendance. In celebration of today’s groundbreaking ceremony and North Point’s commitment to the hospitality community, the company added $25,000 to the North Point Hospitality Scholarship in the School of Hospitality, Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.

The 186-room hotel, located at 1231 West Peachtree Street, sits in the epicenter of the bustling midtown area on the corner of West Peachtree & 15th Street across from the Arts Center MARTA Station. It is expected to be completed in Q1 2020.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Midtown will feature a unique 20th-floor lobby complete with an indoor/outdoor rooftop bar and lounge area for guests to enjoy views of midtown Atlanta. In addition, the hotel will offer guests the friendly service culture and brand amenities they are accustomed to, such as, free hot breakfast, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour business center and fitness center. Each guestroom will provide comfortable accommodations featuring the clean and fresh Hampton bed™ and include HDTV, free in-room movie channels, and a coffeemaker.

Previously, North Point Hospitality developed the first dual-branded hotel in Georgia, the Hilton Garden Inn/Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown in 2013.
