The new SpringHill Suites by Marriott Savannah Historic District opened its doors to guests on Friday October 2nd, 2009. The 160 room property features an upscale Coastal Contemporary style with guest rooms that are 25% larger than their more traditional counterparts, and include separate areas for sleeping, working, eating and relaxing. The property features high-end upgrades such as compartmentalized bathrooms with separate powder room and sleek frosted glass doors, a pantry area with a small refrigerator, sink and microwave, as well as 37 inch flat screen LCD television. The hotel is designed keeping in mind the needs of both the business and leisure traveler, giving them the extra room needed to relax and feel the comforts of home. Other features include valet parking, concierge services, business center, cardio & fitness center and meeting space for up to 100 guests.
